Heidi MillerHead Coach
As a high school senior Heidi Miller competed as an OH for the Indiana State Championship match for the first time in her school’s history. She was the team captain and was named to the All-State team. Heidi was named a “Fab 50” player. She was named MVP at the 18 Open Junior Olympic National Championships, where she competed for Circle City 18’s. Heidi competed on the Penn State Women’s Volleyball Team from 1993-1997. She played in every match during her four years there as a defensive specialist and as an outside hitter. Heidi still holds a digs per game record (prior to the addition of the libero position). While at Penn State her teams won the Big Ten title each year and competed in three NCAA Final Four championships.
Heidi is currently a teacher at North Allegheny where she also is coaching volleyball in her 20th season with the Tigers. She has 16 years of club coaching and administrative experience and is an integral leader of the Revolution Pittsburgh teams. She has led two teams to USAV Nationals in the last two seasons. Heidi also serves as Revolution Pittsburgh Recruiting Coordinator.
