Lisa Failla was a three sport athlete at North Allegheny High School participating in volleyball, gymnastics and track. As a setter she helped lead the NA girls volleyball team, under the direction of Mr. Bob Miller, to successful seasons from 1988-1990. She was also an integral member of the gymnastics team, contributing to four WPIAL Team Championships (1988-1991) and three PIAA Championship teams (1988-1990).  Lisa began coaching varsity gymnastics and junior high volleyball at North Allegheny in 1994 while completing her undergraduate degree at The University of Pittsburgh. She was the varsity head coach at Freedom Area during the 1997 & 1998 seasons and junior varsity coach at North Allegheny during the 1999 & 2000 seasons. She has coached over 13 seasons of middle school volleyball in the area and is currently a 7th and 8th grade coach at North Allegheny.  Lisa earned a M.S.Ed in School Counseling from Duquesne University in 1997. She has held school counseling and teaching positions in the area for the past nineteen years and is currently teaching AP Psychology at North Allegheny Senior High School.
